Is Online Medical Marijuana Card/certification legal in Maryland?
In many states and cases, yes. The state of Maryland allows telemedicine evaluations. This means that you can complete your Provider’s evaluation online and then apply for your medical marijuana card with your certification from your provider. A temporary card may be delivered via email, so you can complete every step of the registration process online

What medical condition Qualifies for a Medical Marijuana Card
To qualify, you must be a resident of the state of Maryland and must have a qualifying condition which varies from state to state. Common examples include cachexia, anorexia, wasting syndrome, severe or chronic pain, severe nausea, seizures, severe or persistent muscle spasms, glaucoma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or another chronic medical condition which is severe and for which other treatments have been ineffective such as cancer, cancer related pain, anxiety, and depression.
Who qualifies for a Medical Marijuana Card/Certification
Usually adult 18 years of age, however under certain extreme circumstances a child/Minor under the age of 18 may also qualifies with a caveat that at least one caregiver always assigned to their accounts. Only parents or legal guardians 21 years of age and older are eligible to serve as caregivers for minor patient.
How long is my Medical Marijuana Certification valid for?
Your Provider’s certification is good for one year. You’ll need to renew it before you renew your medical marijuana card.
Do I need to always carry my provider recommendation?
Your Provider’s recommendation is used to obtain your medical marijuana card which gives you access to dispensaries. The State of Maryland doesn’t require you to carry a medical marijuana card. You can enter MD dispensaries with just your written certification and your Patient ID Number.
Is my Medical Marijuana Card/Certification Valid in all state?
No. You can only use your card in the state of Maryland. Rules and regulations varies from states to states
